The Food Literacy Project provides farm-based experiential education and entrepreneurial youth development programs that bring the Field-to-Fork experience to life for local youth.
Since 2006, we have engaged over 45,000 youth and families in a sustainable food system – by planting, harvesting, tasting, and cooking fresh vegetables at Oxmoor Farm and Iroquois Farm. You can help people fall in love with vegetables by giving today!Learn More
Field Day Family Farm is an urban farm practicing Community Supported Agriculture in Louisville, KY. We sell memberships each Fall and Spring called ‘shares.’
Buying a ‘share’ means you will receive a harvest box of vegetables every week from May through November or December through March. A harvest box typically contains enough vegetables for two to three people (or 1-2 vegetarians) for one week.Learn More
Bourbon historian Mike Veach will hosting a series of Bourbon Salons at Oxmoor. The Salon will offer ticket holders an opportunity to taste different bourbons, one being a vintage bottle from Oxmoor. The beautiful library at Oxmoor will be the setting for each evening. Light refreshments will also be served. Our next Salon is Thursday, December 5th. Click on the link below to get your tickets!
Proceeds from these one-of-a-kind experiences will go to fund the maintenance and preservation of the historic Oxmoor Farm. Oxmoor was established in 1787 by Alexander Scott Bullitt, our state’s first Lt. Governor and speaker of the Senate.
