(Un)Known Project at Oxmoor Farm: Childhood Interrupted Public Art Installation

Oxmoor welcomes Childhood Interrupted, a public art installation designed by Hannah Drake, founder of the (Un)Known Project.
The exhibit is installed on the grounds at Oxmoor from August 1 – August 15th. The grounds are open Thursday-Saturday from 9:30am-4:30pm. Reservations are not required to visit the exhibit.
There are 3 public programs planned where Hannah Drake will give an artist talk and Oxmoor Archaeologist Lori Stahlgren will answer questions about the excavations that have been taking place inside the former slave dwellings at Oxmoor. Artifacts and documents re: the lives of the enslaved children will be on display during.
Dates and times of public programming:
Wednesday, August 5th from 5-7pm
Saturday August 8th at 2pmĀ
Wednesday, August 12th from 11am-1pm.
